The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Milton Dick MP, has established several high-impact civics initiatives designed to bring the traditions of the Australian Parliament to local communities and schools.
April 2026 – National Flag Roadshow: At Belrose Public School, Sydney, Milton Dick MP is hosting the display of a flag from Parliament House, Canberra. Dr Sophie Scamps MP is also present.
May 2026 – Parliament in Schools: At Windsor Primary School, Melbourne, Milton Dick MP and Josh Burns MP are showing students a replica of the parliamentary mace and despatch box.
Feb 2026 – National Flag Roadshow at Emmaus College, Jimboomba, Qld. Students holding out a flag from Parliament House, Canberra. Hosted by Milton Dick MP and Scott Buchholz MP.
