On 13th Sep, 2023, this Flag Day ceremony was held at Parliament House, Canberra, attended by children from a local primary school and descendants of the winners of the federal flag design competition held in 1901.
The backdrop flag is 12.8 by 6.4 metres and is one of the flags that flies above Parliament House on a rotational basis.
